Starting a business takes bravery, vision, and the right products.

Growing a business requires excellent marketing and sales.

Succeeding in business long-term requires skills in organization, strategy development, financial knowledge and sustainable practices.

In this three-week class, you will focus on the financial, organizational, legal, and leadership aspects of running a successful business. These are traditionally executive team roles (i.e. CEO, CFO, COO) but when you are small (maybe even a solo-preneur) you may have to wear all those hats.

Specific Topics Covered:

  • Budgets and Cash Flow Projections
  • Recordkeeping and Bookkeeping Basics
  • Creative Financing and Loans Options
  • Tax Planning
  • Time Management and Technology
  • Insurance, Permits, and Preventing Legal Disputes
  • Forms of Ownership
  • Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks

This class is designed for people in the early stages of business or even those considering starting a business. The material is overview in nature with specific skill building and application for any type of small business.

This course is also a perfect supplement for past participants of It’s Your Business Marketing and Sales.
