At this year’s LA Regional meeting, we hope that you’ll join us for a strategic planning session as we build LA’s Micro Moves Collaborative.
A little over a year ago, a group of microlenders and small business assistance organizations formed the steering committee of the Micro Moves Collaborative with the goals of learning more about each other and optimizing resources. It’s now time to grow the collaborative! And you can help!
The Micro Moves Collaborative will include all organizations that are working with micro and small business owners—banks, small business teams, incubators, co-working spaces, city, and county economic development teams, etc. CAMEO currently has over 30 members offering services in LA County.
The Micro Moves steering committee has defined the following goals to lead the work of the network:
- Build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem serving the needs of the business owners in Los Angeles County: Regular meetings will be convened and more organizations serving the local micro and small business owners will be invited to participate.
- Share Resources available in the network: Members would like to gather information about current programs, services, and resources and create a tool that can be updated for all to use and to promote stronger communications between local partners
- Increase awareness of services offered to entrepreneurs in Los Angeles County: joint marketing efforts and development of a communications plan for the collaborative.
- Increase capital to support entrepreneurs in Los Angeles County: Joint fundraising efforts lead by CAMEO and leveraging collaborative services and impact.
Thank you to Miguel Acuna at the CIty of LA for helping us secure the room!Map Unavailable
