TIMELY: Leadership Development Opportunity

In partnership with WIPP (Women Impacting Public Policy) CAMEO will sponsor one participant at the WIPP 2013 Leadership Conference, October 9-10 in Washington, DC.

It’s important to welcome new leadership to our community and the WIPP Leadership Meeting is a great place to start. This past decade, WIPP’s first decade, brought attention to the need to increase the number of women in society’s most powerful leadership roles – both in industry and in public policy. Economies around the world, as well as in the United States, have gradually come to understand that if women lead, economies grow. It is a watershed moment for women. We no longer have to worry about being “at the table” – and part of important economic discussions – we are there; we are participants in the discussions.

This conversation will be a focus of WIPP’s 2013 Annual Leadership Meeting, and includes a confirmed White House Briefing, a Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee Roundtable, Congressional Luncheon and Capital Connections Reception. CAMEO is proud to sponsor a leadership candidate to this event.

The nominated candidate will receive the following benefits (note, candidate or organization will be responsible for travel from California to Washington DC):
